Customer relationship Management was a lot truer before the digital revolution when customers where loyalty to the few companies that made contact and made them fill like they were important and part of an elite group of customers. Whilst it’s correct that digital made CRM work better and was in fact one of the primary purposes of existence for in businesses apart from companies whose business revolved around technology and communication.
Today technology has made it almost impossible to use the phrase loyal customer and it to remain true for their own business. Today customers are literary bombarded every hour via digital communication offered anything and everything from all over the globe. It’s almost customers do not need a loyalty card or some sort of advantage membership in order to get special deals like a VIP customer.
The way I see it, CRM can more truly be CRM if businesses can understand CRM first as Completely Radical Marketing! Today more than ever before businesses need to think outside the box of a traditional mindset and embrace every opportunity that the digital revolution affords them
